It would seem that several people are having the same issues as Stumpy with guild and party.
I typed several messages to Stumpy last night with no reply, so I guess it is still an issue.

I've just done a bit of searching around and if you leave the guild and re-invite it "can" fix the problem, but usually it comes back.

This post looks promising though...

In the meantime I had a similar issue that seemed to be resolved after the following:

1) I did the guild reinvite strategy (which I had to normally do upon each login).

2) I stayed on that character and went afk until I was brought back to the character selection screen. ( I was also tabbed out ).

3) I relogged into that same character and not only was guild chat resolved, so was party chat.

4) I voluntarily logged off and logged back onto the character to double check.
