My Christmas present from my sister and her boyfriend was a trip to see Dave Gorman Live
at the Liverpool Empire Theatre.

I've read his books, see all his series' (Astrology Experiment, Are You Dave Gorman, etc) so I was looking forward to it... even if it was 3 months (and 3 weeks) AFTER Christmas.

The tickets said the performance was called "Sit Down, Pedal Pedal, Stand Up".... first thing Dave said is "that's the name of the old show, we're just re-using the name. This show is nothing to do with the bike stuff."

I'd deliberately avoided reading Dave's Bike stuff so as not to spoil it for myself. Meh. :-/

The show ended up being awesome, despite some ridiculously powerful stage lights spinning at the start of the show and blinding anyone that wasn't 7 foot tall... the entire show was fantastic.

Highly recommended, especially if you're familiar with Daves' other work.
He stood out in the lobby after the show and encouraged everyone and anyone to come chat to him, have your photo taken etc but I had 8 minutes to catch the last bus so I missed out. :-(
