Proud to be beaten

Gamer Melodico asks: which game are you proudest to have beaten?

They have a few well-known choices on the list, and a few more obscure titles, though a lot of them seem to rely on games they played when they were kids. Quake, Zork and System Shock 2 all get a mention.

So what's your gaming highlight when it comes to defeating the single-player? We had a thread on the Red Army forum about proud gaming moments, but they were all multi-player. Not sure what I would answer to that question, since I've mostly played multi-player games and don't really remember any mentally difficult single-player campaigns. I guess completing Quake III Arena on Nightmare was a proud moment - if Xaero gets the upper hand on that last level, you're in for it. For a truly single-player game I'd probably have to go back to something like TIE Fighter, though I can't even remember now how challenging that was, nor how it ended!

Beating Perfect Dark on Perfect Agent was extremely tough, I was proud that I did it and that I managed to unlock everything in the timed sections as well as the challenge modes.

Most recently I've managed 1000/1000 achievement points in Assassins Creed 2.

I loaned the game to my step-brother 3 weeks ago and since then, everytime I've seen him, I've said "100%'d it yet!? You damn nub!". I think he's spurring him on... maybe.

If you're after a challenge, play a PS3 title called "Demon's Souls". Apparently it's one of the toughest titles in the past 3/4 years.
