San Miguel isn't too bad but I've kept clear of it since one heavy night in Spain where San Miguel was the only drink on offer and it was warm...haven't drank it since but I can remember it being cheaper than water in Spain.

BEER!!
By beer im gonna asume you mean Lager or Pilsner, not real beer.
Im in favour of quite a few continental beers but absolutely none that are made in the UK as they are all piss.
Leffe
Comes in brune and blonde versions both are teh win
Amstel
The only good dutch beer the light version has 40% less calories than normal beer. So you can get pissed not fat.
Corona
A really good beer for a long session of drinking. Plus you get to have some vitamin C with it.
Duvel
For when you really need to get pissed in a hurry.
Starapromen
A quality beer from some shithole country in eastern Eurozone
Budvar
The original and best Bud.
De Koninck
One of the very best mass produced beers you can buy. Has fueled countless nights on TS.
Just remember dont be a snob and drink everything thats offered to you.

I like these calm moments before the storm. They remind me of Beethoven.

For me it has to be a local one - Ringwood 49er, (cos its 4.9%), it does have a big brother Old Thumper but its too pokey to be a session beer.

BEER!!
As long as its lager I'll drink it really.
I even drank a pint of Chang yesterday without complaining to much.
It was fkn freezing and it was stuck to my hand (no table) but the 6 warm up fosters on the way to the chang bar along with it almost freezing by the time I had drunk it helped the cosumation of it imeasurably.

I'll drink most things that are wet. Always garner for bitter when in Britain, can't avoid the Guinness or Beamish in Ireland, and mostly drink dark wheat beer in Germany.

Gaz....... how right were you about "chang" beer I would sooner have a pint of tescos vodka than that again.
I've come across a couple of beautiful tasting beers tonight which I highly recommend giving a try. One of them being "Blue Moon" American beer brewed with oats and spiced with orange peel and coriander and the other "Orange wheat bear" by green jack ales, may be a local beer but if you see it then give it a try.
