Someone mentioned this to me whilst we playing CoH the other night. An action, strategy, RPG, shooter simulation MMO based on the tanks of the mid-twentieth century.... could you throw any more manbuzzwords into a description than that? A bit like Dara O'Briain describing the Gillette Fusion Power Magnum Stealth.
It's currently in one of those stupid 'closed beta' stages, which means you have to apply to get a code to get an account. Just downloaded it so can't give any judgement yet, but those crazy Germans I used to play CoH with seem to have a lot of fun with it.

Haha, probably why it hasn't been caught by YouTube's clever digital fingerprinting machine, such shoddy piracy!
As for the game, I tried it out this evening. Yawn. You control a single tank around a battlefield with about 15 tanks per side, with the simple aim of destroying the other tanks or navigating into their base to capture it.
From what I can tell, since half the players on the field are like level 10 and the rest are peasants, only these playing with a bit bad-ass tank can do anything. I think I once got into a head-to-head with someone, and my one shot did 6% damage to him, whilst his first crippled my tracks and his second blew me up. Oh yes!
The 'MMO' side of things forces you to buy upgrades, replenish ammunition, hire crew members and all the rest of that jazz, but basically it's a game-mode done better in Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, and not a particularly fun game-mode at that. Pimp my tank? Hah!
Tl;dr - waste of time, don't bother.
