Played this and its quite good.
Slight differences from 1 are refreshing.
But only two playable sides is frustrating.
I would not bet against a paid for expansion in the next couple of months.

I like it but I don't.
Nice to have Russians, excellent to bomb a frozen river ... craaaaack, weather effects are a good touch, the skill tree thing is not bad, the post game analysis is fun : not everything is a race but now we have a time stamp, Stump :-). Buildings look too similar, building emplacements or obstacles is underrated, I just do not want an achievement system with unlocks in an rts and the interface doesn't really do it for me.
So basically I'm not entirely won over, it's refreshing in another way.

It didn't do it for me. I have cancelled my pre-order. I might pick it up if they drop the price and make some tweaks, but for now I just didn't get on with it.
