I want to plan ahead and see what needs doing...

Who is getting Cataclysm and why?
i.e Are you going to hit 85, grind a couple of achievements and then quit
Are you going to ain for 85 and then go gather emblems for Heroics and raiding.
And so on.

I want to see who wants to do what so I can choose which or my characters to prioritize and what role they'll fill. (i.e tanking, healer, DPS, whatever.)

I would prefer NOT to tank on my Death Knight (I don't like the mechanics of the class) but if we're low on tanks I'll power-level my Warrior in Mid-November.

If chosen to heal, I think I'd use my Shaman or Priest.

If chosen to DPS I'll use my Rogue, Hunter or Shaman. (If we've already got a Hunter, I'll go Shaman etc. No point having 3+ people all wanting the Leather drops.)


And ideally, we need to choose 1 or 2 days to raid (if that's the consensus) and allow 2/3 days for Left 4 Dead, Portal 2, Black Ops, whatever else people are playing at the time.

I'm planning to one way or the other. If it's with us lot then on the esual proviso of we at least try to do it properly.

Im really looking forward to the new stuff and with only 5 levels to grind it shouldnt take to long to get there.

I'm pleased to see the release date set for December. October and November are always busy for me with work.

I will level Flash to 85 and try to multi spec him so he can fit whatever roll needed although I/him are probably only good enough as a back up tank.

I also want to delete some of my little used low level chars because I really fancy playing in the re-designed early areas. If any others are planning to do this it would be good to know so we can vary our characters and level at the same time. I guess everyone will want to roll one of the new races.

I was going to tit-wank my diddly bong then tank my combine harvester up the M4.

There'll be an 85% chance of a raided murrrdurrr of a thirrd turrd burrglur.

After that there'll be DP with a banana.

(I've not been drinking, but all this Wow stuff makes as much sense to me )

I'll extend the same offer I have since I did this. Due to my full characterness i'll be rolling any new chars on another realm (Doomhammer), so it might be fun if we all have a leveliing tybe bash together.

Are you Alliance or Horde?

I would like to try the new Worgen race but I'd prefer to do that after I've hit 85.
(1 to 85 is going to be a loooooong haul!)

I do have a char I made on Doomhammer, I can't remember what it is or what level. If others want to make new characters it would make sense to do it where there are some free slots.

I don't know if they are going to give low level people another xp boost for starting again so the leveling process from 1-85 is a bit quicker. I shall be pretty rusty after all this time away

I'll be charging through another 5 levels too on at least one character.
I hope that Cataclysm captures my imagination again though because that was never really the case in WoTLK.
I don't understand the other realm plan.

Both. My DK on there is a Gnome, but will be playing Goblins & Worgen as well as a few new class/race combos.

Can't speak for the others but for me it was simply my char slots on Frostmane are full and i'd rather not delete anyone. Then if most of us will be rolling a new char anyway, it would be fun to bash through as a group. I'm not saying abandon your big cows, just something else to do.

The more I think about it, the less I think I'll be making a new character anywhere.

I'll definitely be going from 80 to 85 on 2+ characters but making a level 1 somewhere (alone or otherwise) is extremely unlikely.

It's the mentality behind it all... if I spend an hour hitting level 10 on a Worgen, I'd be sitting there thinking "I could have used that hour to get 5 emblems from a Heroic"... which much better than being level 10. ETC

So yeah, I have many characters on Frostmane to keep me busy for a good while.
I'm more than happy to Tank, DPS and Heal with those 80-85's but a new character is 99% out of the question for me for the time being.

Just a heads up, with the new patch(es) the Guild Member limit will be capped at 600.
