LAN Player Name Causes Hilarity
Amusing story I stumbled across:
I used to play a LAN party with a few mates in the local pub most Sunday afternoons. The landlord and his very pretty wife were cool about this, besides, Sunday can be a slow day and we (6-10 of us) would pretty much be drinking the whole time we were playing.
After a few weeks, the landlord became interested in our games. Purchased his own pc to join in. There was a little problem. In the beginning, the landlord wasn't really very good and would always get fragged (shot, blasted... killed) As soon as he got killed he would always shout out "What! Who the hell is <insert player name here>?".
After about two weeks of this, I changed my usual player name. When he got killed as usual he shouted out "What! Who the hell is ShaggingMyWife?".
Eight guys put their hands up!

Aaaah, good old days of LAN. Back when playing on t'Internet was akin to having a telephone conversation via empty yoghurt pots and string. Haven't been to one in absolutely years.
The aim of all life is death.
