I do not want to start yet another round of omg I don't understand ELO debating but can somebody please fix the goddamn ranking system ?

It's the difference in value between competitions. Unless everyone plays the same amount of games with the same amount of competition multiplier, this is what we get. It's clear I should not be first, or at least not with so many points, the reason I am is because I played less games than Bis in the 'Premiere League' competition.

I suggest we do away with it altogether. For instance in the Premier League a team like Manchester City, playing lower ranked teams and low multiplier will not be able to maintain their ranking and points. Have dificulties to see what the added value of a league/competition multiplier is. Would make more sense if we give a multiplier for finals or so and if we must have one it should be x1,1 x1,2 x1,3 and not x2 x3 x4. This will iron the differences out. Understand it is done to avoid 'Swearcle' to reach top 10 in world team rankings but it's a two edged sword. If the same 'Swearcle' would win a few games in a high multiplier league it will take a huge amount of points and thus overvalueing them. Without a multiplier growth is more gradual and must be sustained to increase ranking which makes more sense.

Well that's good because the system isn't ELO. It's the official FIFA ranking system.

As Aga says, what you're seeing is a legacy of people playing less of the Premier League. Multipliers are no longer a factor (as I reset the rankings for all competitions to 2), but the fact the everyone else barring you has a number of games with higher ranked teams in our last 30 games means there's a little bit of skew in the rankings.

Never fear, ELO will be making a return and so players will start picking up ranking points based on the relative strengths of the teams - rather than the strength of the opposition.

Where he has picked up a win (or points for a draw), he has tended to do so against a decent team. I've just done the maths manually (for Aga, not for you), and the stats are correct.

So, new ruling from the PES rule board - brought on by yet another 87th minute hack from a player to stop Chelsea being beaten 2-1 by Reading:

If a player receives a straight red card in a match, they forfeit a player of the opposition's choice in their next game. The opposition player must give his choice in reasonable time (i.e. putting your choice in with seconds on the clock left to make changes isn't okay).

The offense must be a straight red card (so two yellows doesn't count).

Who makes that board ? ;p

I think it should be amended to a defender of the opposition's choice.
