Cataclysm To Be Sold Digitally (And Pre-Loads)
Over the weekend during Blizzcon it was revealed that those of you looking to pick up Cataclysm can acquire the game via digital download on December 7, the same day it hits retail, through the Battle.net store. This is a first for the popular (understatement) World of Warcraft franchise, but similar to what StarCraft fans experienced with the release of Wings of Liberty.
In addition, those that pre-order the game will have it pre-loaded as well, which will give them access to the expansion as soon as the servers are turned on come December 7.
